Brandon Russ Joins Plano Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals of Plano Committee

Plano, TX  –  (January 23, 2025)

WPWealth manager, Brandon Russ, has joined the Plano Chamber of Commerce’s Young Professionals of Plano Committee for 2025.

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Russ helps his clients in a variety of ways, anywhere from completing large transactions to comprehensive financial planning for all generations. He earned his B.S. in Financial Counseling and Planning from Purdue University.

Shortly after joining WPWealth in 2019, Russ saw the opportunity to spread his knowledge to young adults to help guide them to make strategic financial decisions. He spearheaded the initiative to start the financial literacy podcast called, “Start Now, Success Later.” The Whitley Penn Talks podcast series features industry experts as they walk through topics such as budgeting and debt management, benefits, 401(k) plans, first-time tax filings, and more. The series has had great success, even being featured in INSIDE Public Accounting.  He hopes to continue his success in the Dallas and Plano markets as WPWealth expands its presence in Texas.

Outside of the office, Russ is a mentor at the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards and a member of the Purdue University Alumni Association. A few of his hobbies include spending time with friends, traveling, exercising, and attending sporting events.
